What is Google Street View?

Google Street View is a series of panoramic photographs that are joined together. These panoramic photographs are commonly known as photospheres. When several photospheres are stitched together they make a 360° virtual environment.

As a result Google Street View photospheres are featured on Google Maps and Google Earth. Furthermore here is an example showing the Kapiti Coast District Council office building on Rimu Road, Paraparaumu.

Step inside

Now imagine stepping inside your business on Google Maps. Potential customers can look all around the inside of your building using photospheres. With several photospheres linked together, customers can experience a virtual tour.

Examples below show:
• Kapiti Coast Florist in Mahara place, Waikanae.
• Superloans Porirua, Lyttelton Avenue, Porirua.
• Siggy’s Pies, Mahara Place, Waikanae.

360° photospheres

Paul discusses and plans the photography session with you. A session can take from about 60 minutes to several hours – depending on size of business, locations and number of photospheres required.

Photospheres of your business are taken using a special 360° camera. The camera outputs an image size equivalent to approximately 14 megapixels, or 5376 × 2688 pixels.

Google My Business

Have you ever searched Google for your own business? What do you see? Now imagine what your potential customers see.
